Great food and good service. The desserts are also amazing. The light is beautiful when it's dark. One of the food trucks shouldn't miss out in Tekapo.
Honestly the nasi lemak will bring you back to Malaysia if you're really homesick. Others like dry pan mee also taste nice. Not to miss the creamy butter chicken, not many places in New Zealand are doing this and they make it real like home.
Absolutely the new hidden gem in town! You can tell by the taste that Silver Spoon has spend so much effort on sourcing the good ingredients, fixed my craving for traditional Malaysian style home-cooked dishes! Have tried a few times for the dry Pan Mee noodles with extra sambal, Malaysian style creamy butter chicken, oh and Nasi Lemak with chicken rendang or potatoes are soooooo delicious! Don’t have a sweet tooth but the desserts in the cabinet always look so tempting! Never disappoint me with the good quality of real-fruit short cake, Tiramisu, Matcha cake and the macarons.
