It was my second time to order fish & chips. The food was very good as before. The fish was chrispy on outside to the end. All chips were nicely cooked and looked golden. I really like their sprinkles. (Chicken salt maybe?) I’m from Japan. I came to this take away shop with a Japanese friend of mine when we visited Lake Tekapo together. My friend and I have gone to many different fish & chips take away shops here in NZ and still we think this shop is one of the best ones!
Fish was $8 piece - small and mainly dough. Disappointing. Only thing that was ok was chips. Burger was okay but ended up getting soggy (along with lettuce) due too over sauced
I have given this place 1 star just so that I could post a review. Do not go near it. The fish was terrible and the chips were orange from the chicken salt. Tekapo needs a real fish and chips shop. I dumped the chips so that the seagulls wouldn't be harmed.
