Worthwhile reasonably easy walk up a number of stairs. Avoid going to the Tasman lake and river. Short detour to the Blue or should I say 'green' lakes. Views are amazing with a few icebergs visible. The glacier is a distance away and probably receding further. Not to be missed for a beautiful view of a glacier with so little effort hence deserves a fiver.

A fairly simple to moderate 10-15 minute walk up large hill to a fascinating view point. It honestly looks like something out of heaven, it was stunning. We went in September 2020, the perfect time as it was not too cold but still snow in the distance.

Wow, definitely something to see. An amazing view of the Tasman Glacier. The icebergs and edge of the Glacier are beautiful colours. It is quite far away from the lookout so take a long lens camera if possible. You can do boat tours on the Glacier lake and get up close if you have time.

Parked up motorhome in the area that is marked out for motorhomes . After a few photos from the car park we set about the 15min hike up to the Glacier . The steps are quite steep , allow for 20minutes if you need to have a rest or two. But it was worth it .

Definitely worth climbing all those steps to the awesome view. A bit misty to see the mountains properly but that all adds to the beauty of the valley.
